Hi Everyone! I've set up a media server with thousands of movies and shows, and you will have the ability to add movies and shows too for free. You can download them onto your phone or tablet and watch them offline – like on a plane or during the trip. Jellyfin is the app you'll use to watch everything.
1. Send Me Your Email
- • Text your email address to 513-799-7977 or email mikenewman@live.com
- • I'll send you an automatic invitation with complete setup instructions
- • The invitation will guide you through creating your own account
- • Your invitation will also include directions on how to download any movie or show that's out and available to stream to the media server
2. Install the Jellyfin App
- • iPhone/iPad: Open the App Store, search for Jellyfin Mobile, and install it
- • Android: Open the Google Play Store, search for Jellyfin, and install the official app
- • The invitation email will have the exact server address to connect to
3. Basic Setup Overview
- • Open the Jellyfin app and add server using the address from your invitation
- • Sign in with the username and password you created during the invitation setup
- • You'll have access to my complete movie and TV library
4. How to Download for Offline
- • Browse through the movies or TV shows in the app
- • Find something you want to watch offline and tap on the movie poster
- • Tap the 3-dot menu and select Download
- • Downloads appear in your Downloads section
- • Once finished, you can watch anytime – even with no internet
